Please join us in running or <a href=\"https:\/\/neabpd-dev.niziilan.co.il\/he\/%d7%aa%d7%a8%d7%95%d7%9d-%d7%9c%d7%a0%d7%95\/%d7%9b%d7%99%d7%a6%d7%93-%d7%aa%d7%95%d7%a8%d7%9e%d7%99%d7%9d\/\">support<\/a> one of our runners in the following tracks: Community (800 m), Family (1.7 km), 5 km race, 10 km race, Half-Marathon, Marathon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our organization was founded in 2016 by a dynamic group of family members and clinicians, who have personal experience with BPD and severe emotional dysregulation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Through our website, peer-to-peer counseling, seminars, and public events, we not only provide information and skills to hundreds of members of the public yearly but also increase awareness and understanding among mental health professionals. We work closely with government-funded family support centers including Milam, Yahel, and Ezer Mizion, and we deliver seminars to professionals at other non-profits (including, Amudim and Magen) and the Health Funds (Maccabi and Clalit).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For family members, we run the internationally renowned Family Connections program, which provides knowledge about the disorder and its treatment and teaches Dialectical Behavior Therapy skills. By helping family members \u201cput on their oxygen masks first,\u201d we empower them, helping them better understand and cope with the challenges they face, so that they can enhance the quality of their own lives and reduce their loved ones\u2019 suffering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since our inception, we have held over 30 Family Connection groups (each one running for 3-4 months) in English and Hebrew, in the Central, Jerusalem, and Haifa regions and on Zoom, and we have spoken at many professional gatherings, including the Israel Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Association&#8217;s annual 2021 and 2022 conferences and the 2021 ISSPD  (International Society for the Study of Personality Disorder) conference. With well over 1,000 participants, our groups for family members and our lectures and seminars for mental health professionals have impacted directly on the lives of thousands of people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By choosing to run for the NEABPD, Israel, or <a href=\"https:\/\/neabpd-dev.niziilan.co.il\/he\/%d7%aa%d7%a8%d7%95%d7%9d-%d7%9c%d7%a0%d7%95\/%d7%9b%d7%99%d7%a6%d7%93-%d7%aa%d7%95%d7%a8%d7%9e%d7%99%d7%9d\/\">support our runners<\/a> you will enable us to run more groups and seminars and create specialty programs.
